Chargeback Policy
Before utilizing TaxiCode Direct’s services, you should thoroughly review our Chargeback Policy.
By using our services, you indicate acceptance of all TaxiCode Direct Terms and Policies related to usage. If you disagree with any Terms or Policies, you should refrain from using our site. Making a booking through our online payment platform signifies agreement to TaxiCode Direct’s Cancellation Policy, General Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Chargeback Policy.
Chargebacks occur when your credit card provider demands TaxiCode Direct return funds from a transaction you claim is fraudulent or otherwise disputed. We recognize chargebacks can happen for valid reasons. However, if you make a legitimate credit card booking payment through TaxiCode Direct and later dispute this valid charge by initiating an unmerited chargeback (at our sole discretion), whether fraudulently or not, we may take steps to recover resulting chargeback charges from you directly. Unmerited chargebacks include but are not limited to:
- Disputing a charge compliant with our cancellation policy
- Disputing a vehicle hire charge without reasonable effort to resolve issues with the Provider or us
- Requesting a chargeback without legitimate reason and/or failing to provide supporting information to substantiate the request
- TaxiCode Direct has zero tolerance for chargeback fraud. Furthermore, in case of any unmerited chargeback request, we reserve the right to recover funds through legitimate means available, including use of third-party debt collection agencies or other lawful methods such as our inhouse solicitors.
